Are your brakes making a grinding noise? Grinding brake is always a serious problem and must be addressed immediately. Grinding brakes is caused by one of the following two reasons. (1) Contact of rotor disc with part of the caliper. This is caused by extreme wear and tear of the brake pads and rotors. If the problem is fixed right away, it could save your money. Otherwise you might need to replace entire parts. (2) Sometimes brakes make a grinding noise when a stone or another foreign object gets stuck in the caliper. This causes a sharp grinding or screeching noise. The noise will go away once the object is removed. This is a relatively easy fix.
In either case, addressing brake issues at the earliest possible will prevent expensive repairs. Do you need help with your brakes? One of our certified brake specialist can help you fix it.
